As a purchasing and procurement specialist, you will be able to conduct proper procurement procedures and to find the best offers.
You can learn to be a purchase and procurement specialist if you have completed vocational studies in the field of transport and logistics, or business management or administration. You can also come if you have obtained the relevant competences in the course of work.
At the Tallinn School of Economics, you will learn to organise purchase and procurement procedures, taking into account the enterprise’s specifics. We will teach you all the relevant regulations. As you are an essential part of a team, we will help you improve as a team player, and you will learn to use the necessary technological means.
After completing school, you will be able to lead task groups and to take responsibility for conducting procurements. You will have excellent expression skills in speech and writing. Naturally, you will be very precise because that is expected of a purchase and procurement specialist.
Modules of the programme:
A quarter of the study time is spent on practice training in a work environment.
1 ECTS corresponds to 26 hours of student work, including contact learning, independent work, practical training and e-learning and, as well as a learning test.
The profession of a purchasing and procurement specialist can be studied by those who have attained an at least qualification level 4 profession in the following fields: transport and logistics, or business management or administration, or have acquired the relevant competences.
